“Who is Sabato De Sarno?" | A Gucci interactive storytelling experience on the Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro just got its latest interactive experience, and you’ll find it in the Gucci App. The documentary “Who is Sabato De Sarno? A Gucci Story," is set to receive an innovative treatment offering viewers an engaging and immersive experience, placing them at the heart of the film's narrative.

As we wouldn’t want to spoil it for you too much, the exact nature of this experience remains somewhat mysterious, however, Gucci promises a seamless blend of physical reality and cinematic scenes, seamlessly transitioning between the documentary and the real world. Utilizing advanced 3D technology, special effects, and captivating backgrounds, users will find themselves fully engrossed in the film's fascinating environment.

Taking a virtual journey to Milan, Italy, users will have the unique opportunity to interact with the latest creation by De Sarno, the Gucci Jackie Notte bag. De Sarno, who assumed the role of creative director at Gucci last year, showcased his inaugural collection at Milan Fashion Week in September. Prior to his tenure at Gucci, he played a pivotal role in shaping the men's and women's ready-to-wear collections at Valentino.

"Who Is Sabato De Sarno? A Gucci Story" which premiered on Mubi earlier this month, is narrated by brand ambassador Paul Mescal and features astute interviews with prominent figures such as producer Mark Ronson and stylist Alastair McKimm.

To partake in this mesmerizing interactive experience, you will need to download the Gucci App on the Apple Vision Pro. Prepare to embark on a journey that blurs the lines between fiction and reality, offering a truly unforgettable exploration of De Sarno's enigmatic world.
