Starbucks Partners with Micah Johnson's Aku NFT Project



Starbucks is set to embark on a groundbreaking partnership with the Aku non-fungible token (NFT) project as part of its highly anticipated Starbucks Odyssey Journey. This unique collaboration will introduce a specially designed digital collectible Stamp created by Aku, and to celebrate this alliance, Starbucks will make a generous donation of $100,000 to Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity among children.


Starbucks' cutting-edge Web3 loyalty program, Odyssey, made the exciting announcement about the collaboration on its dedicated Discord channel. Aku, an NFT collection conceptualized by Micah Johnson, a former Major League Baseball player, focuses on inspiring young children to dream big. The collection has garnered attention from various celebrities, including Trevor Noah, Pusha T, and Tyra Banks, who have eagerly purchased NFTs from the Aku collection.

On July 17, Starbucks will unveil its latest Journey titled "Aku Adventure," allowing Odyssey members to embark on a captivating mission alongside Aku. The exclusive Stamp, intricately designed by Aku, will be the centerpiece of this extraordinary Journey, which will be available to Odyssey members until August 13, 2023, offering a limited-time opportunity to engage with this groundbreaking collaboration.


In addition to this thrilling collaboration, Starbucks is committed to making a positive impact in the community. As part of the Aku Adventure launch, the company will contribute a generous sum of $100,000 to Blessings in a Backpack. This non-profit organization works tirelessly to combat food insecurity among children, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.
